One of the tourist’s highlights of the Netherlands is Zaanse Schans, a charming town and windmill museum, which is located near the Zaandijk (North Holland). In the past a thousand windmills worked here but only thirteen of them have survived up today. It is an ideal place for a family adventure holiday, rich in museums and historic factories, where one can seen how, in the past centuries, bread was baked and a variety of products were produced. But usually overcrowded in the summer time, Zaanse Schans is also lovely in the winter time. In Dorota Mazur pictures, lightly sprinkled with snow, reminds a land of fairy tales!
